Gloria and Emory are one of those couples who I truly do feel blessed to know. A lot of photographers say that about all their couples, but I have had the opportunity to get to know them over the course of the past year with maternity and family sessions and can see their love for each other every time. We were able to celebrate their recent engagement at Monahans Sandhills State Park with our latest session together!

The gorgeous Monahans Sandhills are a location I have been dreaming of photographing ever since my Pismo Beach sand dunes experience and I was so excited when they chose this location! Gloria’s beautiful maroon dress from Lulus was the perfect contrast against the bright sandhills and we had the most perfect weather. I was also fortunate enough to pop a tire on the way into the park and Emory was such a gentleman and changed it for me (I told you I was lucky to know them), haha! We shared a lot of laughs, (possibly accidentally ate a lot of sand), soaked up the sunshine and took full advantage of this Texas scenery!
